The other day Tate and Daddy went to the grocery store to pick up a few things for Mom. Tate loves to ride in the racecar cart at the store. Mom really dislikes the cart because it is very cumbersome to push up in down the aisles but Daddy doesn't mind so much. Well, Tate was ecstatic to be in the cart and be with Dad. As Dad is pushing him Tate is yelling (literally yelling) "fa-car", "fa-car" which translates to "fast car" but doesn't sound so nice shortened. So Dad was repeating "yes Tate, fast car". He also started this new thing of saying "mi-now" in this really low, raspy voice. He calls his binky, "mi" for some reason. So he was also yelling that in the store. Dad was so proud! Mom and all the family just laughed at the story - hope you do too.
Mom and Dad were both saying the other day how much fun this age is. Tate just makes us laugh all the time. He's getting better about walking and holding your hand so it's easier to get out more. And he just enjoys playing with you. If we get busy doing other things he'll come, grab our hand and point to the ground and say "sit down". Too fun this stage!
Here are a few pics we just snapped, Tate's cheeks actually look chubby in the first one:
