A lot is going on in the Jenison household as of late. We put our house up for sale this past weekend. When we bought this house we planned on staying here for 5 years max and having one baby here but then moving to a home with more of a yard and more square-footage but the economy has put a bit of a hold on things. We found a house that would provide what we want and more and the price is right so we are going to brave the market and try and sell our home.

We've had it listed for a few days now and already its driving me crazy trying to keep it clean. We have prayed about it and feel it is the right move and realize it might take a miracle to sell our house. :) But please keep us in your prayers as we want to be in God's will. The good thing is we are not in any hurry so if things work out then great if not then we are content to just stay put.

So the house thing has kept us busy but so has Mr. Tate. He is talking so much now it really is amazing. He repeats just about everything you say. The other day we were learning the spanish word for ball. Tate didn't quite understand all the syllables so he just said "lalalalapeee" and slurred his tongue. He also is playing independently for longer periods of time. After nap Mommy will go down and run on the treadmill and Tate will play the whole 30-45 minutes and smile up at me from time to time. Its great to have more Mommy time but I already see how quickly he is growing and it makes Mommy and Daddy sad.

One quick story, the other day in the bathtub Tate made his two ducklings kiss and he started laughing about it. It was so cute because he did it by accident and Mommy said "oh the ducks kissed" and Tate just looked up and smiled. Then he would say "awe" and then smack his lips together. He has such a soft spot for live/stuffed animals.

Tate gets so excited to go down the slide into the balls that he doesn't always remember to put the other foot in front of him and so he is flailing down the slide just giggling the whole time.
