Sorry for taking so long to make another post. The Christmas to-do list just seemed to keep growing and growing. We had a wonderful time spent with family. Tate got his first basketball goal, workbench, large building blocks, racecar set, tonka trucks, books, etc. We spent Christmas Eve with Nonnie/Papa/Uncle Jordan and Luke at Uncle Mark's house. Mallory and Tate had a great time -- stayed up until 11:30p. We also went to a Christmas Eve service with Nana/Poppy/Uncle Grant/Aunt Pudd. Christmas Day we spent the whole morning opening presents and had brunch with the family. Then a made a big turkey dinner at night. Tate wasn't that into all the presents at first until we actually set them up. Mommy and Daddy will have to remember that for next year. We have had a debate whether or not Santa should wrap gifts or have them all set up Christmas morn.
We have one more Christmas left in Belmond, Iowa. I am sad to see the season go. It's always such fun giving gifts, introducing traditions to Tate and telling the story of Jesus' birth.
