What gorgeous weather!

Nov. 8, 2009 -- Yet another nice weekend, so we snapped some outdoor photos of Tate playing in the woods and at the elementary plaground by our house. He absolutely loves to be outside. Guess this winter we will be bundling him up and heading outdoors regardless of how Mom feels about the cold. FYI, Mom would love to move south.

Tate has been mimicking a lot more words lately. He says "gagakie" for cookie (our little cookie monster knows this word well); "hank u" for thank you; car; shoes; milk; "aca" for cracker and once he said "i ah u" for I love you. Mind you this does not happen on command only when he decides.

One new discovery this past month has been tantrums. Mom was told this is a milestone and to not be concerned. Tate has become more independent and with that comes mindset and if Tate's mind is set (for lack of a better word) then we must do it or else. So Mom redirects, redirects and redirects. Sometimes this approach works and sometimes it causes absolute furry. Key is to make sure we get our naps in and are well fed so when our mind is set we are able to process things a little better. Any tips on how to handle these tantrums are greatly appreciated!?

Love to all!
