He is developing quite a language of his own, "a-za" (translation: what is that), "dza" (translation: drink) and "oh-za" (translation: outside). He loves to squeal quite often and always seems to be most prevalent when we are in public. Everyone just turns to laugh and then Tate just smiles from ear to ear -- little flirt!
The other day he had a popsicle because he is teething pretty bad, his 1-yr molars are pushing through. He loved it and ate the whole thing. I think he liked the numbing sensation more than anything and probably the fruit juice. He started to cry when I had to throw away the plastic. Meltdown #1.
Meltdown #2, Tate had his first head trauma. We were out talking with the neighbors and Tate was walking with one hand and twisted wrong and hit his head on the concrete. Oh it sounded awful but luckily it just scraped his forehead so no quessing whether or not it was serious. He was a little hysterical and Mom was too. He likes to hold his breath and climb up me. I'm sure there will be many more of those to come.
Tate's schedule is still two naps a day and heads to bed about 8ish and talks himself to sleep for 30 minutes or so (just started that). He loves his bed and anytime we say "nigh, nigh" he is quick to tell us it back "nigh, nigh" and crawls in our arms and heads to bed. He is really a great sleeper. He is challenging with other things but he loves his sleep, just like his Mommy and Daddy!
Please give us your recommendations for helping him through teething....we have given him Motrin, orajel and popsicles...thanks!
