Happy Easter Everyone!

April 12, 2009 -- Tate's first Easter started with a neighborhood egg hunt and picnic. There were over 1,000 eggs hidden on the lawn of the Longview Mansion and Tate got TWO! Yeah, we are teaching him not overindulge already! He had fun watching all the kids scurry around. After the hunt all the families had a picnic. It was just perfect weather. Tate got his picture taken with the Easter bunny. Our neighbor, future-babysitter Nicole was the Easter bunny so she was a little partial to Tate.

On Easter Sunday, the Eckley/Gilmore clan came over and had dinner. Cousin Mallory was so cute, she had on a little chick coat and a pink toole dress with some white little furry boats (our little model already). The kids are still at the age where they would prefer to play by themselves but soon enough they will be getting into all kinds of trouble together. Next year will be so much fun to hide eggs.

Happy 1st Easter, Tate! You are such a cutie-pie sitting with the Easter bunny. Glad you had a fun outing with mom and dad!

Isn't Mark and Mallory a great pair. He looks like a proud dad.

Way to go, Tate! Trying to find those Easter eggs can be quite the challenge and you have to watch out for those who steal them right out from under ya, too! Glad to hear you had a great Easter, too! Love ya! Aunt Paula
